The Daily Tip is on hold

Communicators,

I am putting the Daily Tip on temporary hold, while my family and I are focused on a difficult transition in our lives.

With a close family member in the hospital, I am having some of the most difficult, crucial conversations of my life every day -- sometimes it feels like every hour -- relying on everything I have learned writing 270 Daily Tips over the past year. I'm pausing, listening, seeking mutual objectives, and then celebrating the wins and mourning the losses. It's exhausting, but I am prepared.
